I really take my hat off to you guys.. Once upon a time before all the electronics and computerized stuff came in to play I did all my own work on my own cars.. including basic stuff like clutch replacements etc.. But I have never been quite brave enough to do an engine swap for a different type of engine. this would obviously take some engineering skills.. Then theres the mess of all the wiring to contend with.. etc, etc.. A little more than basic same engine, / same gearbox swap. I wouldnt put it my car in to a shop to do the engine swap, as it would cost too much so had decided when its time for my next car just to wait until I found one that was already done.. But so many of you seem to have no problem with swapping out a totally different engine.. So does that mean you all have some engineering , mechanical experience.. Or do you guys just think stuff it and dig in and go for it.. You all seem to make it look so easy..
