I really want to know why people think rioting like this is going to change things. Does anybody really think fighting authority with aggression is going to get you anywhere? So a few cops made bad poor choices in a critical situation. This does not speak for the entire APD. I know some amazing people in law enforcement that dedicate their lives to protecting this city. Do you really think you would do any better in a hostile situation? Because, no, you probably wouldnt have. I have been in a similar situation with a guy hopped up on meth or crack. You cant reason with those people. His If he had come at me like he was threatening to, i would have had no choice but to respond in force. Think about these police officers and their families. When they are in a situation with a violent person... either they go home at the end of the day, or the bad guy does. You think you know what they go through or could do better? you should probably do a reality check.
