I recall when there was an Oil spill in the gulf of Mexico. There was a call to pray with a vessel of water and then pour it in the Ocean. We did this at a talking circle I faciltate in the DTES today. I believe with Fukishima and now the Mount Polley disaster the time to pray and send our love to our Mother is needed now more then ever. All of our relatives, the Salmon ,the Trout ,the rooted nations and the sacred water of life will know that we still cherish this precious gift. I do not want to tell my Childrens Children that when I was younger we actually used to catch fish in the Rivers......Time to pray and do what ever is needed to protect our future
