I receive this email from a domain name hosting company in Singapore. EMAIL Protect your brand in Singapore with a .sg web address. Normally priced at $50 per year, its now available for only $4.90. Remember this offer ends on the 31th August 2014 so act now The following questions have to be addressed: 1. Why should it cost $50 to register a .sg doman name, when it cost $10 to register a domain name? Why should the cost be so high in Singapore? 2. Is the $4.90 offer for one year only, and will the price revert to $50 on renewal? I find many business practices in Singapore to be unfair, non-transparent and unsatisfactory. We need to change these practices and rebuild the trust in the Singapore brand.
