I received word this morning that my oldest sister, Phyllis Hankins, died peacefully in her sleep sometime early this morning. She was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer last fall. Her body had weakened greatly over the past few months, and we knew her time with us was coming to an end, we just didnt think it would come so quickly. My mother, sister, and I, as well as Phyllis daughters, are all so thankful that she went quickly and peacefully before she deteriorated any further. She had been experiencing pain, but nothing like cancer sometimes causes. Thank you to all of you who have been keeping her in your prayers.
