I recently conducted an experiment on facebook as it was always puzzling to me as to the number of friend requests i would receive form people that i do not know. I began to wonder how many of my friends would actually accept those requests without so much as a message to their inbox. So i create a bogus and fool proof account and randomly choose a sample of two hundred (200) of my friends; and the results were astounding. one hundred and sixty seven (167) of you accepted the request but also fifty two(52) requests for friendship were received. facebook is not a numbers game people! how many of the individuals that u have listed on your friend list are ur actual friends? I completely understand the need to want to meet and talk to new people. but how many of these people have u had more than one conversation with. Is it not better to go out and make a real connection? just think about it...
