I recently dated a woman that I will call Gabby (not my daughter). 5 dates and 6 weeks. It didnt work out. She was horrible with communication. She was not all that pleasant towards me, either. Today, she texts me, saying she wants to clear the air, so, if we run into each other, it wont be awkward. She lives 45 minutes away, so chances are slim we will run into each other. Then she tells me that she will be in Brunswick (my town) on Saturday. I am thinking, uh-oh... I asked if she was going anywhere special and she said she didnt know where she was going, its out of her hands. A date? She says it s not a date, she is going out with a guy friend and wanted to let me know so if we happened to run into each other, it wont be awkward. Keep in mind, she KNOWS I dont go out anywhere because I have no friends that I hang out with. Plus, Brunswick is a pretty big area, chances of us running into each other are a big fat ZERO. She says she was trying to be nice, I said she was trying to rub my nose is shit.
