I recently saw someone ask for advice on how to handle certain business objections and one of the responses was Fake it til you make it. I have never understood this expression. Faking success until you have actually achieved it is not leading with integrity and can actually set someone up for huge failures. I believe in honesty and transparency. To give the perception that something is true when its not to impress others will only lead someone to feel unworthy and less confident. I think people have more appreciation for others who share their struggles and failures along the way while working towards their achievements. So I think this is really bad advice. What are your thoughts on fake it til you make it?
