I refuse to stand by and say this is okay. I have friends who are of every single sort of minority race. I would never use race against them in any way because I know they are entitled to as much happiness and human right as every single person on this God-given Earth, but here is the issue. Minorities (and this isnt all - I am NOT damning every single person in these groups because, again, I have good friends and coworkers in these groups who are beautiful wonderful people who wouldnt dream of using this logic against anyone) are of the assumption that race is only ever used against THEM. In their opinions, white people, being of the majority, never have anything used against them in anyway shape or form. And any time we make a comment like this, we are damned and attacked. Ive got news for you: Meleeas comment was made on a post I shared containing a list (that was not written by me) of stereotypical white person things all white people do. Explain to me how THAT is not tacos against white people? Again, white people arent allowed to use any sort of race argument purely because we are WHITE. Anyone can say ANYTHING they want about us, call us names, call us racist, tell us we have too much power, this, that, and the other thing and expect not to get a thing said to them because if we said something, guess what, we would be racist; but the MOMENT a young white woman says anything at all about possibly having race used against HER, she is...surprise, surprise, called racist. Where is the logic in this? How is this in the LEAST bit fair? I may come under fire for this, but I dont really care. Unfriend me if you disagree enough to call me a racist jerk. I dont care. This is WRONG.
