It breaks my heart to learn of the passing of Lacey Holdsworth as she was so courageous I n her fierce battle with cancer. She was so adorable & I will never forget her beautiful smile. She was such a big hit at our Gala last season . I received the news from a reporter Jason King a former colleague at ESPN. Jason did a fabulous story on Lacey & her special relationship with Michigan St star Adreian Payne. I last hugged & spoke to Lacey on senior night in East Lansing as she represented Adreian .I just spoke to her Dad Matt to offer our sympathy to the family. Also told him I will make plans to raise dollars for a research grant to keep her spirit alive by helping other kids. This year we have lost 2 ANGELS who we have gotten to know during their battles -Eddie Livingston - & Lacey Holdsworth.
