I registered both my dogs for life today at $100 each. Thats for the dogs life not my life. So if they both die tomorrow and I get two more dogs it will be another $200 which is ridiculous - or I pay each year. It is time that the owners not the dogs got licensed for the owners life. If the dog dies then you pay an administration fee of say $20 to update the database with the details of the new dog. If you are found guilty of cruelty then every database in Australia can be notified that you are never again to be issued a licence to have an animal. Surely thats got to be an easier, cheaper and better system. What do you think?
