I remember a time when life had come to an abrupt stop and I was hospitalized battling Crohns/Ischemic Colitis/Internal bleeding. With my amazing girlfriend and beyond supportive family by my side... I made a decision during that period. I wasnt going to let anyone or any disease some doctors said I had bring me down. I dont know if many of you remember but I was supposed to embark on my journey for Warped Tour all summer the day I was admitted. Doctors were saying the odds were against me to make it back out. Im stubborn so I didnt listen to anything they had said. Fighting to keep my eyes open, Maintain positivity In pain days on end, Sometimes wanting to give up... I didnt and 7 days later, I was on Warped Tour. 2 Weeks after that, My Doctor called and told me they in properly diagnosed me and I didnt have Crohns or Ischemic Colitis.. Or maybe I did and my positive vibes told it to kick rocks. Either way, I beat the odds and was living out a dream I set to tackle years back. Playing Warped Tour was one of my biggest goals when I set sail in this industry, My main goal was to have my music take me to places in this world id never dream of being, places that I myself couldnt even think of playing in... By the end of this year, I will have played shows in US, Canada, Australia, Belgium, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland, France and Russia. All of this, Because I didnt give up. All of this because I applied myself and promised myself id never fall short. The Devil may be perched on my shoulder, Waiting for the perfect time to make me fall short but I swear, I dont care how close he is getting... He will never get ahold of my soul. Im telling you, If a Failure like myself could be living this, You can too... Just apply yourself and you will be right behind me. I love you all so much.
