I remember as a teen listening to late night right wing radio on the AM dial and far right magazines and newspapers like The Spotlight, which was openly antisemitic and racist, not because I believed any of it to be true, but because I found it to be utterly fascinating and deeply troubling. The fringes of society have always intrigued me. What worries me now is that these fringe groups have become increasingly mainstream and are gaining legislative power at the local and state level, and in some ways even at the national level in the U.S. Congress. Please take a moment and consider Claire Conner Morks perspective. She really does know from experience what shes talking about when it come to the radical right.
