Today I carried out my monthly task of Turning the Pages of the Books of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey. Next month will be a full ceremony conducted by soldiers of 335 Medical Evacuation Regiment. This will take place at 1100hrs sharp on Saturday 4 October. All are welcome to attend regardless of cap badge, rank or status. The project to get the Books of Remembrance on line is completed the final checks have been done, I will be releasing the links very soon. This will allow family and friends to search the books for friends and relatives who have paid the ultimate sacrifice on operations since the start of World War 1. All from the comfort of home. I look forward to seeing anyone who attends the ceremony in October. Kind regards.
