I remember as a teenager when asked about being a parent and buying toys instead of things for myself. I was like, Shiiiiid! I aint buying shit for nobody! Now that Ive been a Father for over a decade, Ill do whatever I have to do just to see the smile on their faces; no gift is more rewarding. I dont dig X-mas itself but, I know that kids all over the World are filled with happiness on that day. Spite my beliefs, I havent ever distorted my kids joy because I want them to feel that way too. However we call it, Gift Day in our home. So many would probably disagree with me on that, but this is under MY mphukn roof! I just dont dig people putting more emphasis on camping out in front of stores and fighting over merchandise for the sake of a sale. Where is Jesus in all that? Seems like the meaning goes out the window as soon as prices are marked down...
