I remember coming out of a meeting at work – looking down the long hallway at all the people standing there staring at different monitors…I could hear crying. People were almost in sync reaching for cell phones making phone calls….it was almost surreal. I found a place to look up to the monitor and there was the first building smoldering…it was like a movie. Then while I was in the presence of hundreds the next plane hit - people gasped, unsure of what they were seeing....That feeling of dread, sadness, anxiety, horror, anger all at once….that lasted for quite some time for me. I can never forget the people I watched jumping to their death – and the countless others running in panic down the streets as the smoke billowed outward - I will see them in my mind forever. I felt for the first time – that we could be reached – at any time…by people who hate us. Pray for those who lost their lives and those families today RIP 9-11
