I remember our career days when pilots, engineers, nurses, doctors, accountants and teachers used to come and tell us about their occupations. I remember vividly, I moved from aeronautical engineer to geologist, to pilot all in one career day but the good thing was that I wanted to be something. They came not in flashy cars totting big gadgets, all they came with was heart and their passion for their jobs was what bought us over and not the money they had. I turned to my friend and said, I hope you are raising your kids to be contented with what they have, he said yes. I reminded him of our career days and asked him what he thought would happen if we went for a career day in one of these schools and lets say a Tompolo also walked into the same career day and we both had a good laugh on the thought. I told him, he would talk until his spit run dry and tomplolo would distribute free ipads and the kids will choose him and then we stopped laughing....what will they choose? Will they choose... Money over honesty Long leg over merit Treachery over loyalty Short cuts over hard work What exactly will they choose? Our country is in trouble and our only hope is the family. Parents owe this country a duty to instill values into these children but there is a proviso, YOU CANNOT GIVE WHAT YOU DO NOT HAVE SO CHANGE YOURSELF TO CHANGE YOUR KIDS AND OUR COUNTRY WILL CHANGE! Once again I have spoken I am Da Thinka, The Voice Of The Young People!!! By the way how many of prayed for Nigeria today??? It is deeper than likes and comments but...It is about the TRUTH
