I remember playing with a Mac SE back when I was 18. I grew up - TopicsExpress

I remember playing with a Mac SE back when I was 18. I grew up within the Apple vision and I wouldnt hesitate calling myself a generation SJ as in Steve Jobs. Apples contribution to our current technological culture is major. That said in the last few years Apples products have consistently shown unacceptable flaws, bugs, and awkward limitations. I used to complain about it in private but now it is showing all over the place (see the last example below, honestly its hilarious). So I wonder. Is Apple really declining or is that another bump on the road? More importantly, is there an alternative? Samsung? Nay ... Samsung makes better smart phones maybe but they still feed on Apples vision. Apple used to be revolutionary, not just innovative. The revolution has died off it seems; only innovation remains. Not quite enough to keep me at the edge of my seat anymore. And not quite enough to keep me from considering the competition. Dont get me wrong. This post is not about bashing Apple. Im just really interested in the way creativity flows and evolves, especially the type of creativity that redefines how we interact and relate with the world that surrounds us.
