I remember the first day of school my junior year. We spent the summer not really sure if we would have a theatre department or not. I had drama class sometime in the afternoon and we knew very little of this new guy, Mr. Bundy. Walking into the classroom, the name plate on his office door was a cheesy joke that read something like this, Mr. Bundy, no not Al or Ted. Good grief! Anyway, only a few people reported seeing the elusive Mr. Bundy walking the halls and the descriptions varied. Class started and here he comes, head slightly down, minimal arm swing, and wearing mostly black. Strike two. Then he handed out a list of the things he planned on us accomplishing his first year at SC. Having been a 2 to 3 shows a year school, this full page list of activities/shows was overwhelming. We finished the list and then some, and that started the whirlwind that was my last two years in high school!
