I remember when I was kid, my mother got the cassette tapes for My Book of Bible Stories with the narrator reading it back to you. I was so excited that my favourite book could be read to me in tape. I had it in my walkman and would sit on the lounge and read for hours. Funny thing was I used to play it as I was going to sleep at night, did this for a looong time for a single reason.. As a typical JW kid, I had that morbid fear of demons and the unknown. That made the hairs on my neck stand up. So mum told me that if I played the MBBS cassette as I go to sleep, it would keep the demons at bay. So it was sort of my comfort and defence as a child convinced that my fear was real. Very sad for those unfortunate. It all came back me earlier this year.. I was helping my mother with a garage sale and upon going through all the junk, I found that FILTHY cassette holder with those 4 YELLOW CASSETTE Tapes! I took the tapes home and BURNT the F#©KERS!! My small part for the obliteration of lies!
