I remember when I was really young I asked my mum and dad Why did we move to Canada instead of the States? Keep in mind, i asked this because of the amount of family we have there. I was too young at the time to fully understand all of the things Canada has to offer in terms of starting and growing a family, and believe me Im grateful. But ill never forget the answer she gave me. She said Your father and I have four children. Four black boys. You may not understand it now, but its not a place I want to raise my boys. This verdict instantly brought me back to that statement. And I honestly cant say shes wrong.
