I remember when a young boy wondered onto the railroad tracks around 18th street crossing. The train struck the boy and he lost his foot. The child was very very young. Wilson and another officer put the child in the cruiser and rushed him to the hospital where he was air lifted and had emergency surgery to save his life. A belt was used to squeeze off the blood and this saved the boys life. I will be posting similar stories daily about Wilson. You people only want to remember the negative.
