I repeat myself. I was born and raised in a country that strove for and expected excellence in everything. I now find myself living in a country that is satisfied with mediocrity. My dining set is a perfect example. It was delivered and put together in my home. I ordered a table, 2 chairs and 2 benches, all with leather seats. The chairs were fine. And I have one bench because we took the two apart and made one acceptable bench. The returned bench has a serious blemish in the wood of one leg and the leather cushion has a STAPLE in it! The table was beautiful right up until someone at the manufactory placed a divot in the top with a sharp tool. These things sailed right on by whatever quality assurance Ashley Furniture apparently doesnt have. I see this kind of shoddiness every day and we are all diminished by it. Good Night, Neverland!
