I rode a CBZ for 14 years, not once did it die down on me. Yes it had its share of flat tyres, broken clutch cables and what not. 2 months old, 2k Kms driven, 2 Lacs worth KTM 390 died down at DND toll booth today around 8:40 am. Called KTM Lajpat Nagar, was diverted to KTM service station, that guy said kisi ko bhejna ka faida nahin, sounds like your battery is down. Find a mechanic and get it sorted out. I then asked for KTM Noida number which he shared with me, Landline number! DND guys werent allowing me to park the bike, their senior asked the guard to tell me to push the bike all the way. I talked to him and then he allowed me to park. Asked my colleague Arun Sharma to help me out, he reached and picked me from DND. Had taken out the battery by then. Reached KTM Noida to be told it is closed for the day. I called KTM Okhla, the guy who had given me the number, he asked me to bring the battery there. Found a small shop where I have left my battery for charging. I wonder is this the kind of attitude one should expect after buying such an expensive bike?
