I run for you Melanie Hipsher!! Hey All! I (Vanessa Kline) will be running 33 miles tomorrow morning (10/19/13) in support of Melanie and Breast Cancer Awareness. I would love to have shouts of encouragement, honks, waves, whatever along the way if you happen to be driving by...or even park your car and run a mile or 10 with me!! I apologize in advance for the long directions, but support would be awesome and I want people to be able to find me easily if they want to! I hope to see at least a few of you out there! Heres the route: I will start at my house at 5am (near 10th/Eucalyptus). -Head north on 10th -right on Sycamore -left on 2nd Ave. -right on Bear Valley -left on Apple Valley Rd. -6am at the AV Starbucks I will make a short pit stop and pick up several ladies from my running group who will be running different distances (some are running the Virtual Half Marathon in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness!) Continue North on Apple Valley Rd. -right on Yucca Loma Rd. -right on Kiowa -right on Ottawa -left on Rincon -right on Sitting Bull -left on Apple Valley Rd. -crossing Bear Valley and continuing South on Apple Valley Rd -making a U-turn at Poppy St -and returning to the Starbucks on AV/BV Rd. at approx. 8:30-9am -I will then continue East on Bear Valley -right on Deep Creek -right on Rock Springs -left on Arrowhead Lake Rd. (Main) -right on Danbury -immediate right on Outer Arrowhead Lake Rd. -left on Hinton -making a short stop at my sisters house to visit her, the baby and the whole family at approximately 10:30-10:45 -continuing west on Hinton -right on Peach -left on Orange -right on Camphor -left on Redbud -right on Olive -right on E Ave. -left on Main (stopping at Starbucks to fill up water) approximately 11:30-11:45 -continuing West on Main -right on 3rd Ave. -left on Eucalyptus -right on 10th to home!
