I sat in a courtroom on Tuesday regarding a house that I tried to - TopicsExpress

I sat in a courtroom on Tuesday regarding a house that I tried to live in but couldnt, learned later that former tenants had the same problems and then the judicial system telling me its hands were tied as it related to what they could or could not do. I will say that the judge on the bench let me know in so many words that the system ties the hands of judges because PROPERTY (like corporations) are more important than people. And the same goes for how we report on poor people. Luckily, I am not destitute, but I watched many who are, paying more for housing than it is worth, and watched the gavel fall on their necks. This is the same thing that is happening in Detroit. Who will stand for those who are victimized who cant fight back because theyre too busy living day to day. Let it be known that there are a lot of Maureen Taylor(s) in the world and WE aint taking it anymore. BEWARE to those who victimize the poor.
