I sat in awe today as I watched another historic event, I am listening to a few civil right speeches that I hold dear to my heart...I know that a few of you know that I can out from under the opression of anti semitism and racism, personal hate, that hate that consumes so deeply that you cant see through the ignorance that in fact it is really just that you sit in fear of getting to know what is the reality of what another is about, and that GOD created us all equal and that God comes equally to us all. If you think that we have come any further today than we were in 1963 you are sadly mistaken...it is just as alive today as it was then...it has just gone into our homes and underground. The sad part of it is we are teaching it to our children. Some day go to a park where there is a group of little children playing and watch watch with the EYES OF YOUR HEART not the EYES OF YOUR MIND which has been corupted by life...Watch and see how they play little back yellow brown and white boyes and girls play together and do not care about the color of their skin just who is going to be the cowboy and indian or the banker and customer or husband and wife...why do we lose that. where does it go...IT IS CORUPTED BY TEACHING OF OUR PARENTS, NEWS ON TV, LIFE, and the EYES OF OUR MIND and not our EYES OF HEART. We were not made to hate we were made to love one another as we love ourselves. We are FAILING. How many realize that MLK was not just talking to the Black people of the time but all of us. Blacks and Whites he want equal rights for the oppressed world wide. His speech was heard as far as SOUTH AFRICA and CHINA it gave us hope. Do not let it be lost on deaf ears. We need to grab onto and be sold on HIS DREAM I have and we need to grab onto the teachings of these great men like MLK, Malcom X where he went to Mecca and saw white men and black men worship together in harmony. Where we are judged not by the color of our skin but the content of our Character. I hope that some day I can live up to that standard PERFECTLY. God thank you for bringing out of the oppresion of the grips of hate and putting me into your hands and teaching me to love my fellow man. If noone has told you I do, I love you as a human being.
