I saw NOAH last night and contrary to popular opinion, I highly recommend it!!!! If you can handle a little imagination, and have a creative bone left in your stale religiosity youll enjoy it! I think its a powerfully alive interpretation of the story of NOAH with spiritual messages which stay true to scripture even though the artists have taken a lot of creative license with the story line itself. Noah is portrayed as a real man trying to hear clearly from God while having doubts about his own wickedness and goodness and what he is hearing from God. Even the fallen angels being redeemed was at least a picture of redemption. It was tough to watch the second half because the story changes dashed my heroic opinion of Noah and God, I agree its much more pleasant to envision Noah as a flawless & confident hero of faith and God as always clear and strait forward, but neither are true to life. The end made it all worth it!!! As it cleared up the idea Noah had of God wanting all mankind to perish. It turned out to be kind of a mix of the story of Noah and Moses when God wanted to destroy Israel but gave Moses a say in the matter, so in that regard I found it portrayed a deeply biblical message that God allows men to have a part in the writing of His story!
