I saw The Interview on Netflix yesterday. I had never seen a Seth - TopicsExpress

I saw The Interview on Netflix yesterday. I had never seen a Seth Rogan movie and it was hysterical. The cartoon violence in a few spots was worthy of Monty Python, as was much of its satirical content. The only downsides were 1. They lump non-interventionism in with wrong thinking, 2. They paint the CIA as unqualified good guys and worst of all, 3. They continue dissociate the famine and other privations in communist countries with communism itself. As usual, they imply that it is only the dictatorial leader who keeps an otherwise good system from working. They just can’t bring themselves to admit that authoritarianism and starvation are effects of communism itself, not bad leaders doing it wrong. Instead, North Korea only starves because Kim Jong Un spends too much on the military. You know, just like the Pilgrims did. Overall, though, really entertaining and a thumbs up.
