I saw the new movie, Left Behind, yesterday. Save your money. There was nothing remotely Christian about it, the characters were two-dimensional and self-absorbed, and the plot was almost entirely about avoiding one disaster after another. Moreover, the few Christian characters were portrayed as crazy, off-putting zealots. I came across a review in Christianity Today that expresses the same disappointment I felt that a movie touted as Christian should fail so miserably in proclaiming our faith: christianitytoday/ct/2014/october-web-only/left-behind.html
