I saw this status shared on facebook. I see stuff on facebook all the time that is total BS but this really hit a chord with me. Most of you wont care about the details of this and I totally get that. Honestly, my redneck is showing here but I get tired of people blasting innocent people based on their ignorance. First of all the story is completely wrong. They are blasting this poor man with his business card attached on a completely bogus story. Here is my open letter to Sue who originally posted this and now it has been shared over 2000 times. People please educate yourself before you share stuff on Facebook. Here is the email I sent Sue: I saw your post on facebook about a hog hunter looking for Bay dogs. Your post is completely and utterly wrong. This man (whom I dont know) was looking for Bay dogs not BAIT dogs. Bay dogs are dogs that are trained to track animals and specifically hogs. If he was looking for bait dogs (which is not a real thing) he would not be asking for specific breeds, which are Bay dog breeds by the way. If you dont believe me, please inform yourself and google it. Hogs are not attracted to injured dogs. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Hogs are naturally scared of dogs (even injured ones) and that is why people enjoying hunting them with dogs, for the chase. Your status has now been shared over 2000 times with this poor innocent mans business info and a complete BS story. I hope he sues the pants off of you for spreading such ugly ridiculousness. I am sure he has gotten a lot of hate mail and calls and he is perfectly innocent. He was doing what you wanted and rescuing a dog. Catahoulas and Black Mouths love to hunt and they would have loved to go home with him. My family has been ranching, hunting and raising hunting dogs in Texas since 1832 and I could not believe what I was reading. My suggestion is you better write a lengthy apology and urge your friends to share. THIS, THIS is what is wrong with Facebook.
