I see a lot of should she be banned? posts circulating concerning this Texas Cheerleader and her big game kills. People are acting like she went out and shot up Simbas pride lands all willy-nilly with no regards to any possible legalities. First of all, regardless if you agree or disagree with what she chooses to do with her (parents) money, the animals displayed in those photographs were 100% harvested legally and are most likely from a managed wildlife area. Secondly, the insane amount of money her family forked over to go on those hunts is allocated not only towards the conservation of the animals, but is also used to assist the poorer communities in the surrounding area. Furthermore, if you think people dont eat lions just because it sounds weird, youre sorrily mistaken. The meat of each and every animal harvested is always donated to locals who dont have enough to eat. Anything that can be repurposed is. None of the animals shown are endangered, and the Rhino was merely darted in order to take blood samples and measurements in order to assist in research and regenerating the population. So on what grounds would you be banning her? Because you hate charity and the conservation of a struggling species? Or because you personally dont like the choices she made? If thats the case then I have a list of people I would like banned as well...
