I see more and more and more everyday about police brutality, how they abuse their power, and they are only a gang with legal permission. Lets lay down some facts then. Roughly 800,000 police on state, federal, and corrections. Roughly 150 police nation wide each year are investigated for wrongful murder of a person and about 1000 each year for wrongful harming of a person. Thats 1150 police out of around 800,000. That is a 9.2% chance a cop is above the law. What you dont look at is around 200 police each year are killed in the line of duty. 20,000 each year will be shot at, out of that 2,000 will be hit by a bullet. In the past ten years violent crime has risen over 128% Known gang affiliation up 82%. Burglary and other non violent crime up 150%. Yes there are corrupt police and security guards in the world. But the violence they do is minimal to what they protect. Go ahead, bash cops, bash security, bash people in uniform there to protect. But when someone is there to harm you, dont go to them for protection, because you do not deserve to be a hypocrite when it involves a life.
