I see recipes. OK I give, bier-rocks, home town German recipe. Brown a pound or two of ground beef and toss in finely chopped onions just before the beef done, so the onions sauté. Put this mess in a pot with half a head of chopped cabbage and let it steam till the cabbage is tender. Salt and pepper to taste. The cabbage really sucks up the salt. Now Im getting at aroused. If you make good bread dough you need to have it ready. I use Bridgeford bread dough. Flatten out a piece about the size of your palm, about 1/4 inch thick, spoon in some filling, seal and bake at 325. Of course youll want to make a sheet of these or eight. Make one, not just one I mean a sheet, for me too. I know what Im cooking this week.
