I, senator Iyiola Omisore, the PDP flag bearer in the State of Osun gubernatorial election, this day, Saturday, August 9, 2014 hereby concede defeat and congratulate Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, incumbent governor and candidate of the APC in the interest of peace and in reference to the love I have for my people. For those who benefitted from our welfare program that saw the distribution of rice, vegetable oil and kerosene and did not vote for us, just know deris God. For those who did not benefit, I have instructed my aides to sell the rest of the commodity at a very subsidized rate. In the spirit of sportsmanship, I would implore Gov. Aregbe to consider awarding some construction contracts to my engineering firm as he very well knows that I have also spent huge funds that ended in the pockets of the people of Osun State. I will use this opportunity to say for the very last time that I did not kill Bola Ige, so people should stop linking his death to me. It is sad that soldiers can be given orders and get to the field to do another thing. I know it would not be an easy ride with Rauf, that man is a mad man calling himself an Ogbeni. Well, I think I gave a good account of myself, and there would be another time, I only wish they can adjust the Constitution, maybe I can return to Abuja as a senator. Thank you my people. Am not even sure I should be thanking you sef!
