I simply cannot let a holiday season pass without watching the 1963 Judy Garland Christmas Special. A beautiful mid-century modern set, Liza showing up with her choreographer boyfriend to perform Steam Heat, Little Joey being obviously forced to sing against his will (and ours... eeeek,) and a very frightened looking Lorna. The background story is that Judy wasnt fond of TV, and basically had to do this special because, well, pills and booze are expensive. She had not been present for the rehearsals, and everyone was nervous about her showing up at all. She looks pretty haggard. This copy of this is from a 2001 German DVD release of this (including commercials.) Someone posted the whole thing on YouTube. I have a copy of this DVD, and used to have an annual viewing party.
