I sit here, 27, bottle of wine in hand, legs up on the seat and arm rests, reclining. Row 4, window seat A. Not quite upper but close enough ;) window shade half drawn, a sunset on the horizon about 3 hours off setting. The sun warm on my left knee. Right arm laid back across the double armrest - a row all to myself. I ponder. The moment, life itself, memories, love, the future, family, loved ones across the pond and think, What a beautiful journey its all been. Heart races at dreamt up fleeting encounters and possibilities; fates quick twists in lifes colourful tapestry. Reflecting on a more recent moment - on the beach, just earlier this day. Ibizas hedonistic charm - totally enjoying the now, for a change. Challenging and testing societies rules and regulations, giving in to nature and being completely free, for just a moment. Escaping the Electronics... The ever uploading, constant calendar in our pocket. If only for an hour. You couldnt have dreamt this up. 27, a woman, free to travel, enjoy and explore. THiS alone IS the enigma. Something lost on our 2 thousand years + of sisters. How blessed I feel. Ok, almost in tears now... This IS the miracle. This IS the dream. Im living a dream of billions of woman now passed. Technology. Forever changing our own personal horizons. The canvas now open, for anyone to paint. Less restrictions - yet completely monitored in this new, fast world. Where will this journey take us ... Past Imaginings now seeming more possible, the world and beyond our oyster to ponder and discover. Boundaries erased. A brand new phase of existence. Heres to learning more, gaining new perspectives daily, Feeling more. Enjoying more. Being less afraid. Embracing change and welcoming the challenges ... and maybe even learning from them for once.
