I sit here waiting to hear what Jessicas counts will be, will we be going in tomorrow for another bone marrow biopsy and surgery to prepare for another round of chemo, or will it be put off another week. These past 2 weeks being at home have been amazing and much needed. However, I have also noticed a sense of joy and sadness with my brave girl. The truth is no matter how strong she is, she is still only 12 years old and would like to feel like a normal 12 year old girl. Unfortunately, Ive had to just console her and explain that during trying times, some people aka friends will come and go and in the end you will find out who was there and never left, never treated you any different, and those my dear are the keepers for life, its not the quantity its the quality!!! I for one will ALWAYS BE HERE as will your ENTIRE FAMILY and you will ALWAYS FEEL OUR LOVE
