I smile when.... I smile when I hear one of my favorite songs. It makes feel good about my upbringing and how the blues and gospel music had a huge impact on where Im headed with my music....because one of my favorite songs to-date is feel good bluegrass. Its perfect music....and I love that singing it will honor both my Reverend Grandfather whose spirit lingers in the front of my mind and my mom who to this day plays the blues and old-school R & B like she did growing up....and I smile. I smile as I glance @ the billboard above and see 4 of my favorite actors coming up in a movie...the tagline if I recalls says something in regards to ...This will be legendary...and I say ...yes it will be ....and then I smile again. I smile at the hottie that passes me on Holywood Weird-of-ard because she is pretty....and through my shades I want to know that I see her outter beauty...and that I hope she feels just as good inside as she does on the outside.......as she passes....I lookback...and she looks back with a smirk...and I smile. I smile because the kid at the lunch table yells out my name...not Pondorosa...but my real name. Its funny because they associate my name with Sponge Bobs homie....and I smile. I smile as I think of grandma anderson receiving her long awaited batch of cookies but doesnt dive right into because shes waiting on the diabetic-friendly cookies thats to come anyday now for grandpa s.l....and I call and tell her...its ok to eat em grandma....Im sending more along with what ive already sent....and I smile. I smile because though there are things going on in & around my life that doesnt necessarily warrants a joker smile all the time...@ end of the day... the things that really matter in my life keeps me joyful and smiling...96 percent of the time. So just when all just seems like its just way too much to bare at times or things dont seem to go your way....smile because ....you still can. peace, love & light.
