I spent all of my twenties working with children. Whether it was as a child care provider, headstart/preschool teacher, or advocating for them when they had been abused, children were my life. I stepped away from that profession as I entered my 30s but I still think about those kids I spent so much time loving on. It makes me smile when some of those kids find me on fb :-) It makes me bawl like a baby to get a thank you from the ones I fought for. I have to confess though that some of these kids make me feel so dang old though! Some have babies of their own!! Where did the time go?? They grew up so fast!
