I spent almost the entire day trying to figure out why my front dif wouldnt stay engaged last weekend.. i tracked wiring and vacuum lines, tested everyline and wire on the system and narrowed it down to the vacumm solenoids, Ive had to replace them before, theyre $150 bux each... so tomorrow im going to eliminate the vac 4x4 system completely so that it cant fail, it will technically be like a full time 4 wheel drive (constant live axles due to hubs engaged even when in 2h) the only neg is slightly worse gas mileage due to shaft drag until i get manual hubs.
