I spent the morning with the good folks out at the Colleton County Animal and Environmental Control office. Wow! I learned a lot! If any of you are looking for ways to help the animals in your local community, the shelter could use donations of the following items; Dawn dish detergent, bleach, and paper towels. The shelter uses a lot of these three items to keep the place clean and sanitized for the pets they care for, and we all know cleansers can deplete a budget quickly! Want a quick project for your club or family...host a cleaning product drive and collect these three items to take to your local shelter. The animals and the care-takers will love you for your efforts! Of course, donations of pet food are always welcome as well.
