I spent today in a rather introspective mood, and Im happy to say my life feels so much better than it did a few years ago. Being an overweight child/teenager takes a toll on your sense of whats fair and unfair. When I was younger, I always tried to put on a positive front, but underneath there was a confused and angry kid who thought hed never have close friends, girls would never like him, being bullied was a norm, and, no matter where he was, he would always have the smallest voice in the room. But its like they say: tough times dont last, tough people do. I decided to get off the couch and take control of my life. Today, with the support of my family, my friends, and the constant motivation Nine Inch Nails brings me, Im the happiest Ive ever been. I feel like THE MIGHTY LANDON MORLEY at times, which is something I never dreamed Id feel as a kid.
