I spent todays field internship at Moriarty Fire Department. Right at the end of my shift, we finally got two calls. I want to give a shout out and thank you to Chief Spann and BC Hererra for their hospitality. Also, want to encourage the city of Moriarty and/ or Torrence County (however that stuff works) to get them a new station built ASAP. Us Edgewoodians thought our old station 1 was rough- no way compared to theirs! Rumor has it that funds were allocated for a new one, but went to a memorial instead of to those who work to care for and protect the city- shameful.
