At least get an understanding before you make the choice to cross the picket line. Finally , I witnessed two young African American apprentices being threatened that thered loose there jobs and be kicked out of their unions if they didnt go to work. That is to deny them the ability to exercise there right to freedom of speech, freedom of expression and Im sure other rights are violated such as the freedom to negotiate a fair wage.
