I started doing this and ended up doing that. I think this is what you call senior moments. But there can be value in this because when looking for something in a file, you find something else, and then you realize how important that thing which was buried away and hidden for a moment. We save these things to treasure again another day. I found something that was wonderful and had to take the time to share it. Look at the trust in that little boys eyes, looking at his father, and his father with him. That is my husband, Don, and his son, Michael. This was taken in January 1958. Don would have been 20, but 21 years the next month. Michael would have been about 4 years old. When Don saw this picture, he said, he sure was cute and remembered fondly the time of this picture. My advice to young folk. Dont think you will remember things years later. You never think you will forget when the picture was taken or who the friend was. But believe me, it happens, and then that wonderful memory is lost and no story continues from it. I am in one of those hanging onto memories moments. I have been trying to organize myself better this week. Just thinking about the holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, puts me in a tail spin if I feel unorganized. It is a quirk but I cant work until I have touched everything and know where to find stuff. Including my kids and loved ones. :-)
