I started filming this after the guard in the white shirt pursued this kid across two lanes of traffic, across the King William St tram tracks, as the tram was moving, behind the tram and blindsided by the oncoming traffic. Both were almost killed as the guard continued the pursuit acorss the next two lanes of traffic and were almost run down by the police pursuing the kid too. Police did a U turn across the tram tracks against peak hour traffic and parked across both lanes, creating a barricade for the kid fleeing on foot. They got out their car and shouted at the kid to stop. The kid immediately stopped, dropped his stolen can of Diet Coke and then the three cops attempted to restrain the kid while the two guards looked on. An elderly gentlemen made comment that the three officers attempting to restrain the child, were doing so in quite a violent fashion. The guards asked the man to move along and thats when I started filming. Get a look on the cops faces when they notice me filming, and get a load of the smirk I get from the bearded cop when the kid spits towards me at the end.
