I started off in this industry as a complete novice with no idea - TopicsExpress

I started off in this industry as a complete novice with no idea about Facebook or Social Media Marketing or any of the strategies that people use in this industry to make money ! All I had was a dream of changing my life and a desire to work in a different way that would be less restrictive and could allow me more time freedom and bring me a reasonable income. These are probably the same reasons that most people would agree with for wanting to start their own business. Having more time freedom, not being constrained by someone elses schedule and the ability to earn unlimited amounts of money. Of course the difficult part is actually making that happen and as I proceeded deeper into this industry I started to realise that their was going to have to be a price to be paid in terms of investing my time and money and energy into my new career path. You see its not just a simple question of posting a few comments on Facebook once a day and expecting someone to hand you over a cheque... Its a little more complicated than that as we are really in an entertainment business. I started off my career in this industry jumping from one product to another believing that it was the opportunity that would make the difference to my fortunes but that sadly is the mistake that the vast majority of us make. We believe that we just need to find that one single business that will magically transform our luck ! Well it is important to find a business that you could see yourself enjoying be apart of but thats not the only criteria thats is required. The truth is that in my experiences so far and from what I have learned, this industry is all about giving value for free in the first instance then being able to attract people by showing an infectious enthusiasm got what you do. Becoming a showman to a certain extent by appearing on webinars and hangouts making videos and being extraordinary. This does not happen overnight and it certainly didnt happen for me as it has taken 14 months of solid daily committed action in my business. Its taken me hundreds of hours of personal development training and overcoming fears and self limiting beliefs. Its been about building confidence and being brave enough to allow myself to be different and to become a leader. So now I have reached a point in my career where Im having some success, but have I stopped learning and growing as a person ? Well the answer is Im still only just starting and over the course of the next few years I expect bigger and better things of myself. Will I make it to the end goal that I set for myself ? I have no end goal other than to continue on building and growing my business, I have a legacy that Im planning on leaving behind and because of that I wont stop doing what I started 14 months ago, and if you want to leave your own legacy then be prepared to stay the course and work on yourself through personal development as this is the real key to success in this industry. ~ Peace ~
