I started this page 10 months ago because of a dog that was lost, scared and was living in the woods behind the Waterford Apartments and thanks to the few members we had here at the time, she was rescued. After no owner was located she was adopted and is now living in a wonderful home with a great fur mom. I learned then that Bellevue is full of many animal loving people and that we needed a place to share lost and found pets in our community. Since then, many pets have been reunited with their owners and sadly some are still out there somewhere. I wanted to take this time to wish you all a wonderful and safe holiday season and to thank you all for your diligence and help in doing all you can to help these animals find their way home. I am so thankful for all of the people who take time to remember the animals. Who are kind to them. Who try to help save them when we humans invade, destroy, or contaminate their habitats. For those who stop and rescue strays, or who volunteer at or start shelters. For all of the activist organizations who strive to enforce animal rights. For all of the people who take the time to adopt pets and bring them into their families. I am grateful because the people who take the time to care and put their hearts into action are making the world a better place. Keep up the good work Bellevue... It really does take a village.
