I started working at a very young age (I grew up on a farm with six kids in our family. We were all working by the time we could walk). I moved from a town of approximately 500 people to Dallas, TX at 18 & went right to work (3 jobs – Job 1 – Travel Consultant for IVI Travel, Job 2 – Hostess at a diner in downtown Dallas and Job 3 – Retail Sales at Lord & Taylor 3 nights / week). My kids are grown, my business is doing well and life is great….except, I am mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted…….So, I’m giving myself permission to take a much needed month off. I intend to enjoy everything this beautiful beach has to offer…..walks, runs, kayaking, volleyball, spending time with friends and family, reading, naps…..I seldom take full advantage of all this area has to offer because I’m usually running on fumes. I’m also taking up yoga (2nd class tonight) and am thinking maybe I was meant to be a yoga instructor :) I need more ‘down time’ in my life. I’m going to plan our holiday vacation for Christmas and birthday trip with the girls in March…..I’m very excited……but mostly, I’m exhausted…..so will probably do a LOT of resting and healing. My very capable team will be here to handle business matters and I know they won’t miss a beat. If you are in the market to buy or sell, please call Geno Hill at: 320-321-9902. For any other real estate related questions or requests, contact my assistant, Ashley Motley at: 850-777-4146. I am so grateful for both of them as it allows me this opportunity to put myself first and reboot my life. I know having this time will allow me not only the time I need to rest but also to review the next chapter of my life (I’m almost an empty nester) and decide what direction I want to go next. Vacation starts……now. Thanks! Marcia
